ASA provides a quality, standards-based high school curriculum that is aligned with the Illinois State Board of Education’s (ISBE) Illinois Learning Standards (ILS). Our curriculum is aimed at offering all students an equitable, multicultural education that encourages them to think deeply, critically and creatively. We offer culturally relevant coursework that is designed to strengthen student proficiency in the following 10 performance areas:
- Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Science
- Readiness to Succeed Development
- Technology Development
- Personal, Social, Health Development
- Service Learning
Through mastery of these areas our goal is to help students become academically and intellectually prepared for post-secondary education or entry into the work world.
